How It Started

What Started as a Podcast Became a Network.

The Clashing Conferences began in 2023 when a group of friends — and a few friends of friends — got together on camera to talk sports. There was no pressure to be polished or play a role. The idea was simple: be ourselves, rep our teams, and share the passion from different fan bases and perspectives.

Those recordings ended up creating more than content. Friendships grew from the conversations. Rival fans connected, the conversations carried beyond the podcast, and people kept wanting to come back. That connection became the spark for building a real community around what was already happening naturally.

From there, the vision grew. The podcast remained part of the experience, but the relationships behind it became the reason to build something bigger — a sports fan network where people could connect, participate, compete, create, and simply be themselves around other fans who share the same passion.

Any good organization needs structure. We do our best to keep the network organized and operating in a way that earns the trust of the members, sponsors, and partners involved. The Clashing Conferences has no employees — our leadership roles are volunteered by members who choose to take on added responsibility and help bring the vision of the network to life.

A lot of work happens behind the scenes to keep the network moving, and that structure also helps us build deeper, more meaningful relationships with the sponsors and partners who support what we are creating.
